Job DescriptionThe General Help role assists in the production and serving of meals at a military mess. The ideal candidate for this role will be reliable, personable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to pay attention to detailed customer orders and a willingness to assist team members will be the keys to success for this role. Duties may include: Setting up & tearing down workstationsServing hot food items during mealtimesAssisting in the production of boxed LunchesCleaning & organizing all workstations & customer areasSweep and mop walk-ins, kitchen and loading/unloading areasRemove trash in the dish, kitchen and preparation areas to the designated area and clean kitchen garbage containersAssist with deliveries and stocking supplies as requiredEnsure the dish and kitchen areas are kept clean and sanitized throughout shift and monitor product supply, replenish when neededComply with all health and safety requirements and guidelines for working safely (lifting, knife safety, wet floor procedures and hot oven safety)Participates in JHSC, workplace inspections and accident investigations as requiredOther Tasks as AssignedJob ResponsibilitiesEnter Job Responsibilities hereQualificationsMinimum Post-Secondary Education1 year in Food Services Environment (Kitchen, Cafeteria or Restaurant)Reliability Clearance Certificate#ACAN250EducationAbout AramarkNorthern Europe - Our MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.Northern Europe - About AramarkAramark is a leading service and solutions provider in Northern Europe.
