P&H Milling P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions. From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Acton, Hanover, Hamilton, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries. This role focuses on developing efficient maintenance schedules, overseeing servicing activities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure maximum vehicle availability, operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across departments and external partners to maintain a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant fleet. Day to Day Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles and equipment based on manufacturer recommendations, usage patterns, and operational requirements. Prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance. Liaise with Transportation Planners to understand operational needs and adjust maintenance plans accordingly. Collaborate with 3PL service providers and internal teams to coordinate maintenance and repairs. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to uphold fleet safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for all vehicles. Prepare reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and compliance metrics. Analyze maintenance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in fleet maintenance. Required Qualifications High school diploma or post-secondary education in Logistics, Fleet Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance or transportation management. Availability to work a 1 year contract. Knowledge of regulatory standards governing fleet operations and safety compliance. Experience working with maintenance management software and TMS systems preferred.
