Heavy Duty Outside Parts

Brandt is currently seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative for ou Estevan, SK Peterbilt location.  This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling heavy-duty transportation truck and trailer parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.    Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential   Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month Keep customers current on new products and services Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management Participate in all required training and development opportunities Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team   Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle Other duties as assigned  #LI-onsiteRequired Skills Exemplary customer service skills Excellent communication skills Knowledge of heavy-duty transportation truck and trailer parts, operations, and industry Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude towards internal and external situations   Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong decision-making skills Ability to work flexible hours   Requires travel within assigned territories with the potential of returning home most nights  Required Experience 2 - 3 years previous of sales experience in a similar role, or in a Parts or Service Department  Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract will be required      Discover The Brandt Advantage When you work for Brandt, we work for you.  It’s as simple as that.  That means on-the-job education to develop new skills, advancement opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package and more – all backed by unmatched job security.   About the Brandt Group of Companies The Brandt Group of Companies — headquartered in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada — is a privately owned manufacturing and distribution company that serves a growing international audience in industries such as agriculture, construction, forestry, rail, mining, steel, transportation, material handling, and energy.
