Job DescriptionAre you looking for a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding job right in the heart of the educational action?We're hiring Team Members to join our fantastic Tim Hortons location, uniquely situated on the NSCC Ivany Campus in Dartmouth This is more than just a job—it's a chance to be part of the vibrant campus community, serving up smiles coffee and baked goods to students, staff, and faculty every day.Job ResponsibilitiesProvides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standardsPrepare made to order food itemsFollows Tim Horton's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shiftAssist other members of the team when neededLight cash handling duties including processing guest transactions, counting cash, closing/opening registers, participating in cash auditsMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityKeep area clean at all times; manage wasteMay perform other job duties as requiredQualifications1+ years Kitchen Help, Food Service, or Prep Cook experienceExperience with Tim Horton's or similar franchise is an assetValid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an assetKnowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygieneAbility to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervisedExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer serviceAbility to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a full-time, seasonal role.
