Supporting over 1,000 sites including offices, compressor and pump stations, gas plants, and SCADA connection points, this role ensures all network modifications follow Enbridge standards and that changes are carefully planned and executed to minimize downtime and maintain the reliability of critical systems. Apply today #joinourteamWhat You Will Do:Maintain Enbridge network security infrastructure in alignment with industry standards and all Enbridge IT policies. This includes Firewalls, IPS, VPN, Web Content Filters, Load Balancers / Application Delivery Controllers, Azure Front Door /Gateway, etcCollaborate with the Network Security, Network Planning and Network Operations to design secure and reliable solutions for services and application that are both internal and external facing. This includes Cloud based deployments, on premise IT systems, as well as OT/ICS SCADA based environments.Ensure the security of Enbridge’s network security infrastructure aligns with Enbridge policies and industry standards, including our SCADA and control systems, Liquids and Gas control centers, data center, LAN, and WAN.Work closely with the network architects and Operations Support to ensure the telecommunications infrastructure for critical systems to the meet uptime, reliability, redundancy and security expectations.Assist application groups design, architect and implement solutions that provide redundancy, acceleration and automated failover and recovery across geographically dispersed locations.Assist with ongoing and new applications with Cloud based environments.Work within UNIX and command line based environments for security initiatives, scripting, maintenance and support.Who You Are:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, computer science with diversified information services/technology experience or equivalent experience.Minimum of six(6) years of directly related experience (Firewalls, etc).Strong knowledge of developing, building, maintaining load balancer infrastructure.Excellent understanding of networking concepts, OSI model, protocols, services, etc.Excellent documentation skills.Good understanding of Firewalls, UNIX, DNS, SSL certificates, PKI, OpenSSL, encryption algorithms, ciphers, and Authentication mechanisms, such as SLDAP, RADIUS, SAML (including Multi Factor Authentication)Good understanding of network security best practices and application design and multi layered security models.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.Preferred:Significant knowledge of Palo Alto, Versa and other firewall platforms.Working Conditions:Stressful working conditions due to pressure to meet operational and project completion deadlines.Work performed in typical office with occasional travel.
