Voted one of Scarborough's favorite shopping mall's, it aims to provide visitors with the best possible shopping, dining and entertainment experience.Position: Security Guard Site: Bridlewood Mall - 2900 Warden Ave., Scarborough, ON M1W 2S8Hours: Wednesday to Friday (1200-1700) and Sat - Sun (1200-1800)Pay Rate: $19.25Posting Date: January 21, 2026Internal Closing Date: January 28, 2026External Closing Date: Feburary 4, 2026Key responsibilities:Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable mannerAble to use tact and diplomacy in dealings across a range of settings and situationsRespond to medical emergencies and provide first aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arriveAbility to maintain and enforce access control proceduresSolid understanding of emergency and standard operating proceduresDeal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the Trespass to Property ActAssist with Fire & Life Safety inspectionsMaintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with using the standard report-writing programConduct periodic patrols of property either by foot or by vehicle. Investigate incidents and occurrencesDraft detailed incident and occurrence reportsMaintain the peace, safety, and security of all patrons, and clients on the property Monitor CCTV surveillance systems De-escalate emergency/crisis situationsAssist emergency and law enforcement personnel Access control, line management, customer serviceAssist with daily operations as needed/required or directed.
