This role designs and implements scalable systems, drives performance improvement, and ensures alignment with corporate, regional, and client standards. The PM leads cross-functional teams, builds operational frameworks, and fosters a culture of innovation and accountability. Success is measured through system effectiveness, KPI achievement, and the ability to lead projects that enhance service delivery, workforce engagement, and financial outcomes.Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in hospitality or remote site management, with strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, challenging environments. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.Key Responsibilities:Process Design & System ImplementationInnovation: Minimum two process improvement initiatives launched annually; measurable impact on service or costClient: No unresolved escalations >48 hours; positive client scorecard trends across sitesPeople: Leadership development plans in place; turnover below target; 100% training complianceFinancials: Regional budget adherence; 5–10% YoY cost savings; forecasting accuracy within ±3%HSEQ: 100% audit compliance; systems implemented across all sites; corrective actions closed within SLAPerformance Management & Continuous ImprovementStandardize SOPs, reporting tools, and service models across sitesLead change management initiatives to improve service delivery and efficiencyBuild and deploy operational systems aligned to corporate/client standardsHSEQ LeadershipMonitor KPIs and coach site leaders to meet targetsLaunch improvement projects with clear metrics and timelinesAnalyze site-level data to identify trends and opportunitiesFinancial & Client StewardshipLead emergency preparedness planning and trainingReview audit results; direct corrective actions and recognition programsImplement regional HSEQ programs; ensure compliance and readinessWorkforce Planning & Leadership DevelopmentServe as an escalation point for client issues; maintain strong relationshipsApprove major purchases, contracts, and staffing plansManage regional budgets and P&L performanceAccountable for a 100% completion of scheduled internal and client audits.QualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive management experience in hospitality or remote camp operations, including oversight of catering, housekeeping, janitorial, and maintenance services.Education: Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, facilities/operations management, or related field. Trades or technical certifications are an asset.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with hospitality or facility management software.Financial & Operational Acumen: Proven ability to analyze budgets, forecasts, and schedules to optimize service delivery and control costs.Remote Operations Expertise: Adaptable, resourceful, and experienced in the unique challenges of remote northern environments, including occasional travel to multiple sitesWorking Conditions:Project-based role with primary work in Nunavut (e.g., 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or similar), flexibility for remote work when not on-site.Ability to work long shifts and rotational schedules.Endurance to function effectively in remote northern climates, including extreme cold, wind, or lack of daylight during certain periods.Resilience under isolation conditions—long periods away from home with limited external contact.Occasional travel to other projects across Canada.Fly-in/fly-out arrangement; shared accommodations and meals provided while on-site.Extended periods away from home with possible weather-related travel delays.Must comply with all company and client health, safety, and operational standards.
