What you’ll do: Reporting to the Grocery Supervisor, the Grocery Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand:Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures and participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety.Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto. Production, packaging, and merchandising of product. Cash/TillAccurate ordering and receiving of product. Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations.Other projects and assignments as required. This position requires the use of equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting of product (up to 50lbs unassisted).Why it matters:Our Team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together. Who you are: We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following: Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.Professional, people-first, Guest service skills Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.Quality communication skills.These are part-time positions, with successful candidates required to be available for days, evenings, and weekends, working approximately 15–20 hours per week.Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan with eligibility based on established criteria.
