The Supervisor oversees the day-to-day running of the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after shipping and receiving of client samples and logging samples into LIMS upon receipt. This position is given direction from the Client Services Manager. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for department administration for logistics activities. Training can be provided to the appropriate candidate. What you will be doing:Supervise and mentor logistics team and driversEnsure that all samples are entered in the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in an accurate and expedient mannerEnsure all sample integrity issues are properly documented and reportedKeep CPM team, sales team, and lab managers informed on rush and time sensitive samples that arrive at the lab as well as incoming expected samplesEnsure proper and accurate completion of all outgoing bottle orders Ensure availability of sample supply stockEnsure sample pick-ups and supply delivery meets client expectations Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement to managementEnsure compliance with required safety protocols and adherence to PPE policyOther duties as assigned What you bring to the table2 + Years Laboratory Logistics ExperienceProactive mindset, ability to plan and develop strategies for improved efficiencySupervisory Experience an assetAbility to prioritize Intermediate computer skills Problem solving skills University Science degree is preferredWhy Join Us?At AGAT Laboratories, we recognize and value our employees by offering a competitive benefits package, including:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision care.Paid vacation and flexible sick time.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Long-term disability and life insurance.Professional development opportunities.Who We Are:AGAT Laboratories is a premier full-service laboratory operating at the cutting edge of science and innovation across North America.
