In the initial phase, you’ll play a key role in setting up operations for our brand-new Calgary Learning Centre, establishing processes, systems, and standards to ensure long-term success. Once the center is fully operational, your focus will shift to leading day-to-day program delivery and ongoing improvements. Leading program execution: Oversee a variety of learning and training initiatives from planning to delivery. Driving collaboration: Act as the primary contact across teams, host planning meetings, and ensure milestone dates are met. Managing logistics: Build and maintain accurate registration sites and event apps. Problem-solving on the spot: Serve as the on-site lead for live programs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless delivery. Owning operations: Handle reporting, presentations, and special projects while maintaining financial and data accuracy. Building expertise: Become the subject matter expertise resource for Learning Centre operations.About the teamAs the most senior team member on-site, you’ll help launch the Calgary Learning Centre and then oversee its ongoing operations as part of our firm-wide Learning & Development team. You’ll report to the Learning Centre Senior Manager and collaborate with a firm-wide Learning & Development team that includes content creators and delivery specialists. As the most senior team member on-site in Calgary, you’ll lead local operations and ensure our programs run flawlessly.Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone who is/has: At least 6 years’ experience in event operations, conference services, hospitality or venue managementProven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and develop processesStrong relationship-building abilities and exceptional interpersonal skills.Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently under remote supervisionAdvanced technology proficiency in Microsoft Office, AI, and event management tools (eg Cvent).Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
