Together, we’ll push boundaries and go above what’s expected of us to meet the challenges of tomorrow and engineer a better worldWe have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Materials Handling Engineer who will join our Mechanical Resources Team. In collaboration with the greater Energy and Resources team, this role will be called upon to assume responsibility for a multitude of multidisciplinary projects primarily in the Mining sectors. Initially this position will be taking a development role in the design of materials handling projects across western Canada.These skills combined with excellent business acumen will be key in growing our Western Canadian team.Primary ResponsibilitiesParticipate and produce various deliverables in line with the project needs;Developing and producing design deliverables on a variety of industrial projectsWork in multidisciplinary project teams, produce and sign off deliverables;Work with the department Lead to pursue new business opportunities with new and/or existing clientsAssist stakeholders in proposal writing and fee estimatesCollaboratively support business/operations through sound management of value, risk, content, communication, knowledge & resourcesProvide expertise in brownfield and sustaining projectsEnsuring compliance to Health & Safety, as well as all other regulations & policiesDevelopment & implementation of budgetsPartake to site surveysQualificationsBachelor of Engineering Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering4+ years of completing Engineering design work in the Mining sectorP.Eng designation or eligible to become a P.Eng within Canada is an assetProven organizational, analytical & problem-solving skills;Able to multi-task, meet deadlines, self-motivate, and adapt to change;Excellent Communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels.Experience with metal / mineral processing plants, piping, cooling systems, compression, mining operations, conveyance systems and / or pressure vessels is considered an assetWhy choose CIMA+?
