Description :Create supply plans through rebuilds and seeding for their assigned value streamAccount for inventory strategy, demand fulfillment, CRC (Component Rebuild Center) capacity, invested capital and other applicable customer requirementsCreate detailed supply plans for individual components and make seeding recommendations when requiredCollaborate with key stakeholders such as Production, Materials, Tech Services, Customer Service and other Planners to validate plans are attainable and align to customer requirements and corporate targetsRegular review and adjustment of plans to changing circumstances in a highly dynamic environmentCommunicate plans and priorities to involved parties responsible for plan executionCommunicate expected ship dates, delays and risks to demand fulfillment to ESP’s (Exchange Supply Planners)Monitor flow of cores through the supply chain to ensure cores are being returned and processed in alignment with plan requirements (escalating cores outstanding and cores on hand, and monitoring WIP velocity)Generate and communicate plan attainment reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)Qualifications:Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent with a focus on operations, supply chain, analyticsMinimum 3 years related experience in production planning and/or supply chain managementCAT product knowledge considered an assetExcellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused work environmentStrong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work in a multi-functional teamStrong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skillsExcellent organizational skills including the ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and qualityProven ability to be aware and flexible through assessment of situationsProficient in MS Office applications, advanced level in ExcelFamiliarity with M3, specifically parts inventory functions within Lawson considered an assetPractical experience and theoretical knowledge of planning, expediting, supply chain, logistics and inventory managementAbility to utilize a variety of software tools to perform forecasting, modelling, analysis, simulations & flow chart functions considered an assetNote:This position is based out of our OEM Remanufacturing office location in EdmontonTraining opportunities to learn about Caterpillar equipmentCompany: OEM RemanufacturingAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
