Together, we are strengthening society and the natural world.ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as the technical liaison with our customer.You will build strong relationships with, and serve as the technical SME for, our customer.You will collaborate closely with our Client Manager to strategize and execute on account growth through your knowledge, expertise, and relationships.You will provide technical leadership and guidance to multi-agile team development effort, including technical coordination with the client, integration between teams, collaboration with other companies, and providing technical direction and mentoring to team leads and staff.You will have the opportunity to provide thought leadership on architecture, solutions, methods, and tools to ensure an innovative and efficient delivery of applications.This includes close collaboration with multiple architects, analysts, engineers, and designers.This will also involve some portion of the time close to the technology, coding, and developing software.QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience:At least 10 years in software development delivering large scale digital services, with applied experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks (XP, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).Minimum 5+ years as a technical lead/architect on an agile project (5+ staff) including working closely with client leadership to drive and develop solutions/architectures, providing technical and architectural guidance to team members, and working to integrate multiple components on a project.Hands-on agile web application development and client-server development experience.3+ years' experience in .NET and Java frameworks.Experience developing containerized microservices utilizing Docker or Kubernetes based microservices deployment.Strong understanding of TDD, BDD and automated unit, integration, and acceptance testing.Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD process and pipelines.Demonstrable experience with Big Data Engineering (e.G., MapReduce, HDFS, Spark Streaming, etc.).Ability to design and diagram system architecture for high availability, scalable, and secure systems.Solid understanding of the web technology fundamentals: HTTP, SSL, and JSON.Demonstrable experience of REST (and other API) development architecture.Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL required).Demonstrable understanding of UI/UX/CX concepts.Superb communication skills with experience working with both a product team and direct client communication.Advanced experience with Amazon Web Services.Ability to conduct and oversee design & code reviews.Solid understanding of software security and defensive coding techniques and Shift Left approach in security (DevSecOps).Ability to support platform operations, ensure platform stability, assist with incidents and maintain platform SLA's.Preferred Skills:Open source or community experience.Experience with administration of tools such as Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence preferred).Experience working with AI and Machine Learning.Additional Information:Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.The minimum starting salary for this position is $160,000.
