Junior Surveyor

DNV – Maritime Region Americas is seeking a Junior Surveyor to join our West Coast operations in Vancouver, BC. As a Junior Surveyor for the West Coast you will be member of a highly qualified team of surveyors and auditors serving the more traditional shipping segments calling ports along the British Columbia Coast and performing equipment certification at manufacturer locations in British Columbia and Alberta.What You’ll Do:Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with the Rules, Regulations, Instructions, Guidelines and quality requirements of the organization and the instructions of the line management. Maintain the confidentiality of Clients' business, processes, designs, developments, and documentation always. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the city of Vancouver, the range of starting pay for this role is $80000 - $95000 CAD What is Required:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Naval Architecture or a Marine or Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or equivalent maritime qualifications.Maritime Industry experience (especially exposure to classification / statutory surveys or seagoing experience) is a plus.
