The candidate must possess a strong blend of technical understanding (APIs, e-commerce systems) and robust project management expertise (managing full project lifecycles, risk management, and multi-stakeholder communication).Essential Skills & ExperienceTechnical Acumen Core Skill Must-Have Experience API Integration Management Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and order lifecycle management in a transactional environment. E-commerce & Retail Technology Direct experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, marketplace platforms, and digital advertising platforms. Project Management Tools Advanced proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Google Workspace, and building/maintaining project tracking dashboards. Project Management Expertise Core Competency Required Experience/Application Complex Integration Projects Managing end-to-end projects (3-6 months) involving external partners, covering the full lifecycle: Initiation → Planning → Execution → UAT → Launch → Warranty. Methodologies Versatility in applying both Waterfall and Agile methodologies when coordinating with varied internal and external teams. Risk Management Expert management of RAID Logs (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to proactively mitigate project blockers. External Partner Management Proven ability to manage relationships and communication with retailer technical teams and C-suite stakeholders. Domain Knowledge (Preferable/Strong Plus) Domain Relevant Experience Fulfillment Services Understanding of Last Mile Delivery (LMD), Store Operations, Shopper Workflows, and the end-to-end Order Fulfillment Lifecycle (picking, staging, delivery). Carrot Ads Familiarity with retail media/advertising products (, Sponsored Products, Display Ads, Shoppable ads). Communication & Soft Skills Skill Set Key Behavioral Indicators Technical & Documentation Ability to produce high-quality Scope Documents, Handover Documents, and detailed status reports. Stakeholder Alignment Exceptional communication skills; ability to summarize complex technical issues for executive audiences and maintain alignment across 15+ internal and external stakeholders. Crisis & Pressure Management Proven ability to lead War Room communications during critical issues, manage launch blockers, critical bugs, and partner escalations with a calm, focused demeanor. Diplomacy & Adaptability Skillfully navigating sensitive partner relationships, managing scope changes, timeline shifts, and technical pivots while maintaining project velocity. Apex pay scales are determined by role, experience, skill set, and location.
