Job Description: Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures Plans and implements shift work schedules Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training Motivates staff and issues commendations Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office Attendance Management Performs security audits Documents and investigates security incidents and complaintsProvide proactive and reactive security patrols. Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager Requirements:Immunization Record for Covid-19, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and 2-Step TB Skin TestA Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid & CPR – Level CAt least two years’ of security experience in healthcareAt least 1 year of supervisor/team lead experience in securityExperience in mental health is also an assetPost Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college would be an assetWorking knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActSuperior written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacyLegally authorized to work in CanadaMust be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB pre-employment certification training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UoF/MOAB pre-employment certification training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availabilityWhy Choose Paladin:Opportunities for Growth & AdvancementFree UniformsAnnual Boot AllowanceSecurity License Reimbursement Dry cleaning/Hemming AllowancePaid Vacation and Paid Sick DaysAdditional Perks Education Requirements (All) High School Diploma/GED Certification Requirements (All) Standard First Aid, CPR Level C Valid Ontario Security License Use of Force Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Proof of immunizations for TB, MMR, Varicella
