What you’ll do: We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to Long Term Care (LTC) facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management and patient outcomes.Provide clinical oversight for LTC pharmacy services, including medication reviews and care planning. Monitor drug therapies for efficacy and safety; recommend adjustments as needed.Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in LTC facilities to ensure appropriate pharmaceutical care as a representative of Discovery Co-operative Ltd.Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Pharmacy Department. Provide patient focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care. Provide professional advice and counselling on prescription and OTC medications including indications, dosage, adverse effects, and drug interactions. Perform administrative duties in the pharmacy pertaining to customer files.Communicate effectively with clients, interns, team members, health care providers and suppliersAssist with inventory managementAct ethically and professionally at all times with guests, team members, interns, health care providers and suppliersEnsure outstanding courteous guest service is provided at all timesPerform other duties as assignedWhy it matters:Our people help create legendary experiences for our guests and members shopping at our locations.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Retail Pharmacy and:Recipient of an accredited Pharmacy Degree, with successful completion of the requirements to obtain continued pharmacist licensurePrevious Saskatchewan pharmacy experience in Retail or LTC setting is preferredPrevious Co-operative retail experience is an assetMust be available for work Monday to FridayYou’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you doYou believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.Team Members interested in the above position are to inform their immediate supervisor of their intentions before they approach the contact person.
