This role starts as on-call/casual, with the potential for full-time opportunities as our team expands.ResponsibilitiesDirect traffic, pedestrians, and workers safely through active work zonesSet up and take down lane closures and traffic control equipmentInterpret and implement traffic control plansComplete daily barricade and work zone safety reportsSupport crews to ensure safety and compliance on job sitesRequirementsValid BCCSA TCP TicketTCPs minimum of 8 months of experience with a flagging companyLCTs min 1yr of experience as a TCP and 1yr as a LCTClass 5 Driver's License + clean driver's abstract (required for LCTs)Reliable transportation to and from job sitesRoad paving experienceStrong understanding of construction site safetyGood communication skills and strong work ethicCompensationTraffic Control Person (TCP): $20–$25/hourLane Closure Technician (LCT): $25–$30/hourPlus 9.2% vacation/stat pay + union benefitsWork TypeOn-call / Casual (with potential for long-term or full-time placement)Flexible scheduling based on project needsLocationKelowna, BC, and surrounding Okanagan regionCommitment to Diversity & InclusionGlen Group is an equal opportunity employer.
