You will do this by assisting with a variety of home care services, such as:Companionship and conversationAdvocating for their needsLight housekeeping and meal preparationReminding clients about medications and appointmentsRunning errands and accompanying clients to appointmentsAssisting with grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence careProviding person-centered care for clients with Alzheimer’s and DementiaESSENTIALSMust have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to transport clients to appointments and run errandsMust be willing to work in all service locations, and in various settings such as a client’s home, care facilities, hospitals, etc.Must have open availability throughout the week, including at least one weekend dayMust be comfortable with fluctuating hours and income, as hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on client needsMust be willing to work with clients who may be ill with communicable diseases such as COVID-19, seasonal flu, or colds, and with clients with a wide range of needs including companionship, personal care, Alzheimer’s, and Dementia careREWARDSOptional benefits after 3 monthsEmployment recognitionFamily-oriented, team-focused environmentWork-life balanceExcellent trainingOnline learning program24/7 office supportConsistent 3–4 hour shifts with the same clientTRAININGPersonal and/or previous caregiving experience is an assetAlzheimer’s and Dementia trainingQuarterly trainingNurse-directed care trainingClient-specific trainingEach Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
