  Position: Carpenter Journeyperson - Lower Mainland, BC - Future Opportunity  Project Type: Buildings/Infrastructure Project Location: Lower Mainland, BC  Rate: $43.49 to $45.75 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday - OT as per site needs  Accommodations: Local Only GC: Graham Allied Partner: Technical Workforce Inc. Reference Number: 29684   Jardeg is currently accepting resumes at this time for future opportunities for Carpenter Journeypersons to join the team at one of the projects in the Lower Mainland, BC  This position is in Lower Mainland, BC and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance. This is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends. As a Carpenter Journeyperson, you will: Build forms for concrete Cut, shape, and joinLook for and fix deficienciesBuilding of hoarding and other temporary structuresChecks accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as requiredStudies blueprints for work planningConstructs and forms chutes for pouring concreteErects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levelActs as a work leader and mentors to apprentice carpentersInforms immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measuresGeneral site upkeep Minimum Requirements: Preference will be given to a candidate that has a Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket from a recognized provincial training authorityNon-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry tradeExperience with concrete formwork requiredCertifications: CSTS & WHMISFall Protection is an assetAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamDescribe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issuesMust be legally entitled to work in Canada    COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY At Jardeg, we power the workforce behind Graham and its trusted workforce partners, recruiting skilled trades and construction professionals who help deliver complex projects across Canada.
