The Supply Chain Operations Analyst is responsible for utilizing and analyzing available Supply Chain data to provide information and forward-looking requirements to other departments in time for operationsplanning and execution. You’ll fit in great if you: Supports the department’s capacity planning process through data sourcing, assembling and analysis Supports and shares short-term production plans and schedules to prioritize shipment of certain items under the given constraints and limitation. Utilizes a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Replenishment Analysts, Demand Planners, Retail, Transportation, Finance and the Distribution Centers to ensure that current and accurate information is used for scheduling and planning purposes Provides business support of the company’s advanced replenishment and demand planning system and works closely with IT and the business on break/fix, enhancements, and other project related activities Works cross-functionally with other supply chain departments to increase visibility, limit costs, and reduce risk throughout the supply chain Reviews historical forecasts to evaluate and explain forecast results and variances Develops, communicates, and analyzes KPIs across all Supply Chain departments Conducts simulation modeling and reporting to quantify the effects of system changes or proposed projects Value Teamwork, ownership, people, integrity and community. A few other things we’re looking for: Post-secondary education in administration and/or 1 year related experience (retail or supply chain experience an asset) Knowledge of VBA or SQL an asset Knowledge of supply chain and inventory processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively convert and convey technical information to understandable actions Strong analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills Ability to apply math and statistics concepts to abstract scenarios An aptitude and ability for collaboration, judgment and teamwork Highly organized with ability to prioritize and manage concurrent tasks and projects Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Ability to manage, refine and analyze databases or large volumes of data What’s in it for you?
