Security Guard - Critical Response Team OkanaganPosition Overview: We are seeking high-caliber Critical Response Team Security Guards who thrive under pressure and excel in fast-paced, challenging environments. This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, advanced training, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving scenarios. As a member of our Critical Response Team, you will be entrusted with safeguarding people, property, and assets in situations that demand the highest level of preparedness and professionalism. Location: Okanagan Region Rate: $23.50 - $31.00 (hourly rate varies based on the shift and site) Key Responsibilities: Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and critical situations Provide tactical support and reinforcement to frontline security teams Conduct high-visibility patrols and proactive threat deterrence Safeguard high-value assets and sensitive environments Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required Maintain detailed incident reporting and situational awareness Serve as a role model of professionalism, discipline, and integrity Qualifications: Valid BC Security License BC Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle is preferred Advanced security or tactical training (use of force, crisis intervention, defensive tactics, etc.) are preferred, but not required Must have either Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced First Aid Training Minimum 1 year of experience in security preferred (Industrial/Healthcare/Campus) Physical ability to respond to demanding situations Excellent communication and de-escalation skills Ability to work under pressure with sound judgment and discretion Flexibility for various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends Why Join Us? Be part of an elite, specialized security team Competitive wages and benefits package Ongoing professional training and career development Opportunity to make a direct impact in safeguarding communities and organizations Work with a respected company committed to excellence and employee growth May be eligible for extended health and dental benefits How to Apply: If you are a highly skilled security professional ready to take on challenging assignments with confidence and professionalism, we want to hear from you.
