The Hampton Inn & Suites - Kelowna Airport is currently looking to fill the role of Breakfast Attendant.Located at near the Kelowna Airport, we are on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel. We also pickup our employees near the bus loop at UBCOThe approximate start times for this position are between 5:00 am and 6:00 am. What will you be doing?The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for welcoming our guests to the breakfast area, making sure they have everything they need to start the day off right. This is the ideal position for someone who shines in guest service, has excellent attention to detail, can multitask and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Providing personalized service to all guests.Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standardEnsures Hamptonality is a part of the everyday work cultureSetting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standardsTaking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each dayPreparing food as per F&B Operations guidelinesUnderstand, follow and implement food safe guidelinesSetting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.Setting out/preparing food, waffle batter, etc.Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacatedRestocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next dayWashing serving equipment and returning to storageWashing dishes, cutlery, glasses & mugsReport any safety concerns or hazards to Supervisor or Manager on dutyAssist with light cleaning duties & keeping the breakfast area looking its best including mopping and vacuuming the floorReplenish coffee, tea, water as necessary at the lobby beverage station as requiredPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and ManagerWhat are we looking for?High school Diploma or equivalent is preferredStrong interpersonal skills are a great assetFood Safe Certificate Level 1Perks:Extended Health and Dental BenefitsWorld-wide accommodation and dining discounts with Hilton brandsEmployee discounts on accommodations, dining and marina at our sister properties (Hotel Eldorado, Manteo Resort, Eldorado Marina, and Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport Hotel).An excellent work environment, with a focus on staff recognition and teambuildingRoom for growth and development.Don't miss this exciting opportunity to join our Hampton family
