Description :Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in a service oriented gas compression environmentQualifications:Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certificationGas Compression and Well Servicing experiencePower Systems experience, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systemsStrong organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsCompletion, or in the process of completing all Finning S- level coursesSelf-motivated and computer literateExperience with SIS and Warranty Systems as well as a good understanding of Finning systems, would all be assetsSuccessful candidate will need to be customer orientated and motivated to meet the customer's expectationsAbility to work safely with minimal supervisionMinimum of 5 years’ experience repairing CAT equipmentNote:Must be able/willing to travel to customer sites in the greater Whitecourt AreaAny future shift changes will be made in accordance with the collective agreementA condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respiratorPlease be advised the successful candidate for this position will reside in Whitecourt, Alberta.**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement**Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
