The Southern Interior Woodlands Team manages Tolko's tenure and fibre supply in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, covering an area of , hectares. We are dedicated to sustaining these areas to the benefit of all who live and work there.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: CPA designation or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and develop accounting team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities. Experience in financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Drive to contribute to business objectives and proactively support the division’s success. Knowledge of the forest industry—particularly woodlands— preferred. We would love to hear your story and have you grow with us.In this role, you will: Coordinate the activities of the BC Woodlands accounting team, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and accuracy is achieved. Oversee the preparation of log cost statements, log cost allocations, and other key financial information while leveraging systems and technology for timely results. Coordinate monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Support the operations group in both the Lumby and Williams Lake regions Provide financial information and accounting analysis to the Woodlands Operational staff, Operational Controllers, Sector Management and others. Coordinate requirements and gathering of information for internal and external auditors. Assist in the recruitment of direct report positions.
