We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environmentThis position operates on a straight night shift (11pm-7am) and is eligible for shift premium.Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.ResponsibilitiesInterpret Daily Production Schedule for raw material/print matter allocationAllocate materials using FIFO principles; stage materials at the appropriate resource (right part/right time)Load, unload and move products and materials by hand and material handling equipment when requiredMaintain clean and organized work areas by ensuring inventory is in properly stored in the correct locations (on floor and in racking etc. )At time, assist drivers with loading and unloading of products and materials on/off trucks for transfersRe-introduction of Work-in-process materialAssist in wrapping all finished product and store in designated areas Replenish vinyl compound components to designated racking and hopper staging areaAssist in the cleaning out of equipmentFill in and update documentation relating to tasksGeneral housekeeping Other duties as assigned by Team LeaderPhysical DemandsRequired to stand for long periods of time Fast paced environment Involves repetitive motions Must be able to carry, push, pull or lift 75-100lbs consistentlyEngage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions Use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environmentAdaptable to relative sound pressure levelsRequirements/QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredUse of proper PPE while performing functions, CSA steel toed safety boots are mandatory Must be willing to work all shifts & to work overtime as business needs requireMust be able to meet physical demands of the jobExcellent electronic, verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities in a team environmentKnowledge of inventory control methods considered an asset Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an assetAs a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to submit a clear Criminal Record Check, at their own expense, prior to start date.
