<p><p><b>Job Description</b></p></p> <b>What is the opportunity?</b> The Manager - Financial Analytics and Reporting will work closely with traders, data analysts, and various teams within Corporate Treasury (CT). The successful candidate will play an important role in providing analytics, maintaining and developing our data and analytics systems and reports to support multiple areas, including:<li><p>Interest rate risk strategy and hedging for RBC's banking books</p></li><li><p>Structural FX, Equity Linked hedging portfolios</p></li>The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of financial products and derivatives, excellent analytical abilities and good technical skills. They will need to understand business needs and provide actionable insights to inform trading decision making, ultimately contributing to the success of Corporate Treasury’s interest rate risk and portfolio management strategies.<b>What will you do? </b><li><p>Develop and maintain Python modules to support trading operations, while building Tableau dashboard and reporting tools that deliver insights to traders</p></li><li><p>Integrate various trading systems, databases and financial information to maintain consistent and timely analytics and reporting for Corporate Treasury Markets Team</p></li><li><p>Provide on demand analytics by leveraging big data, valuation models and tools to enhance our current trading practices</p></li><li><p>Enhance processes through automation and use of advanced technology for higher efficiencies</p></li><b>What do you need to succeed?</b><b>Must-have </b><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Math/Finance OR CFA designation</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives</p></li><li><p>1-3 years of experience in Treasury/Finance/Trading related fields</p></li><li><p>Proficient with Python/VBA/SQL/Tableau/Data visualization</p></li><li><p>Strong attention to detail </p></li><li><p>Strong team player and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills</p></li><b>Nice-to-have</b><li><p>Knowledge of portfolio reporting, P&L explained</p></li><li><p>Experience in Product Control/Hedge Accounting department of the bank</p></li><b>What’s in it for you? </b>We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
