Our shops keep our fleet moving safely and efficiently, and we’re looking to support the next generation of mechanics.We are currently seeking Truck & Trailer Mechanic Co-op Students to join our team in North York, ON.Why Complete Your Co-op with SeaboardYou will gain real, hands-on experience working alongside experienced Red Seal and Apprentice Mechanics:Paid co-op placementHands-on learning with modern equipment and diagnosticsMentorship from experienced licensed techniciansTool and boot allowanceProvided coverallsSafe, supportive, team-focused shop environmentOpportunity to continue as an apprentice after co-opWhat You Will DoUnder the guidance of licensed technicians, you will:Assist with maintenance and repair of trucks and trailersSupport preventative maintenance tasks and annual inspectionsLearn how to diagnose mechanical and electrical issuesMaintain accurate electronic work orders and shop housekeepingParticipate in shop safety practices and meetingsWhat You BringCurrently enrolled in a Truck & Coach Technician (310T) or Truck-Trailer Service Technician (310J) programStrong mechanical interest and willingness to learnPositive attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindsetBasic computer skills and familiarity with tools/equipment is an assetWork ScheduleWe will align hours with your program’s co-op placement requirements.How to ApplySubmit your resume directly through this ad.
