We offer competitive wages with a full benefits plan, as well as optional RSP plans.The OpportunityWe are currently looking for individuals that are interested in the future opportunity of becoming Weekend Clean Up/Assistant Oiler employees for our manufacturing facilities in Mitsue Industrial Park. Job duties include:Sweeps floors and clears debris from work areas, walkways and from around equipmentCleans and sprays work areas with water prior to hot work and participates in spark watchUses air wands to blow down dust and debris from hard to reach areasChecks and lubricates machinery bearings as per provided scheduleMonitors oil levels in gear boxes and refills as requiredInspects grease lines to ensure grease is reaching bearings; services as requiredLubricates drive chains as per scheduleEmpties garbage receptacles, cleans tools and parts shelvesPaints shop shelves, cabinets and steps as requiredPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorWorking Conditions:Exposed to noise, dust, falling debris, moving machinery, weather extremes, splinters, slipping and tripping hazardsLifting heavy, awkward objects and climbing on equipment is frequently requiredRequired use of PPE appropriate for the task and working conditionsMust have:A solid work ethic, be eager to learn, and be a team playerA minimum of 3 years of work experience in a industrial or manufacturing setting in a safety sensitive roleValid driver's license and reliable transportation to Mitsue Industrial ParkProficient written and verbal communication skillsMill experience is an asset, but not requiredValid first aid certificate preferredAvailable to work a variety of shifts including: day, nights, or week-endsIf this position sounds like a fit for you, please apply directly through the portal.We thank all candidates for their interest; only candidates selected to advance in our recruitment process will be contacted.
