SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing your skills as an apprentice by troubleshooting electrical systems/components, installing, modifying and repairing aircraft avionics, as contracted by the customer, with the support of experienced Avionics Technicians;Supporting license technicians during various maintenance activity on aircrafts;Accomplish maintenance under technicians supervision; Interact and work cooperatively with other trade personnel;Management and Customer Representatives while performing work in order to meet project directives;Attend training courses as directed;Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Working towards becoming a “E” licensed Avionics Technician;Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;Background in working on Business Aircraft types, an asset;Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;Must be attentive to detail;Positive attitude;Team oriented;Good communication skills.EDUCATION: In the process of finalizing a recognized Avionics Program, or equivalent, is a minimum requirement.Benefits: Our perks and benefits include but are not limited to: Competitive pay ratesDay/afternoon shiftsAircraft type training endorsement incentivesCompany paid aircraft type training on a variety of business jetsRelocation allowanceCompetitive group health benefits coverage for you and your eligible dependents, including health, vision and dental plans Employee assistant program Group retirement savings plan with company matching contributionPaid time off including sick days and personal daysEmployee Referral ProgramContinuing Education ProgramService Awards
