Title: Java Full stack developer Location: Toronto - Onsite (4 days a week) Duration: 6 Months Introduction We are seeking a skilled professional with strong expertise in full stack development, particularly in Java and Angular, to join our innovative team. This role involves working on cutting-edge digital banking solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and compliant with regulatory standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular Experience with cloud-native solutions on Azure Hands-on experience with DevOps practices Experience in designing and developing scalable applications Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs Familiarity with CICD automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes Preferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of AI concepts Experience with BNO SQL and Oracle Exposure to the banking financial services domain Understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Azure App Insights, Splunk, ELK Relevant certifications in Java, Cloud, or DevOps Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular Implement cloud-native applications on Azure, leveraging services such as App Services, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps pipelines Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and compliance with banking regulatory requirements Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of deployed applications Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members Company Benefits & Culture Supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive benefits package For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
