The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of Leads vary depending on project and customer requirements but generally look something like this: Developing software code for PLC, Robot applications and HMI from scratchSafety ProgrammingIndustrial electrical panel design and component selectionTesting, configuring and integrating motion control solutionsRobotics and automation simulationLead debug and testing activities Lead machine commissioning and start-up activities on the customer’s siteLine up specialists to complete project tasks and ensure quality standards are met MUST HAVE 5+ years experience as a controls engineer or technologistEngineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering ORTechnology diploma in electrical or mechanical engineeringLegally eligible to work in both Canada AND the United StatesValid driver’s license and reliable transportation NICE TO HAVE Project Management ExperienceExperience leading teams of 2-5 peopleExperience estimating for quotes and proposals
