If you have a strong safety mindset and an interest in operating equipment, come join our Indigenous Co-op Heavy Equipment Operator (Haul Truck) program providing an opportunity for those with no HEO experience to get just that.Minimum RequirementsMust self-declare as Indigenous Status / Non-status.A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) or Canadian Adult Educational Credential (CAEC) or 10+ years of work experience.Have a valid full Class 5 Drivers License at time of application.Must currently reside within the RMWB.ProcessCandidates who apply may be selected to attend a 4-week training program at Keyano College. Above all else, we are looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. If you are invited for an interview please come prepared to discuss why a career in Heavy Equipment Operating is for youTuition costs are covered, but candidates will not be paid while attending classroom training at KeyanoUpon successful completion of training, candidates may commence a paid, up to 6-month coop at Syncrude Mildred Lake or Syncrude Aurora Mine. Placements will be determined by the business. Candidates with prior HEO experience will not be considered for this program.Please research this opportunity first to determine if it is right for you.
