The Humboldt Co-operative is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Marketing ManagerWho you are:Grade 12 and completion of a marketing diploma, degree, or related studies from a recognized post-secondary institution. Preference given to those with a strong IT background/experience or certificate in a related communications, management, or Business Admin. Program.3 years of relevant Marketing experience. Communications and change management experience considered an asset. Experience in retail with an understanding of the agriculture and petroleum industry considered an asset. Self-drive with high attention to detail accuracyAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to set goals with measurable outcomes. Good writing, communication, and presentation skills. Comprehensive understanding of various software programs (MS Office Suite, Publisher, Photoshop) and solid computer skills required. Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with departments, divisions, key business partners and customers.You are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.What you will do:Be the subject matter expert in all marketing related activities through various channels, promotion and protecting the Humboldt Co-op’s reputation and brand through extensive platforms (Local website, Facebook, Twitter, Responsible for corporate communication and community relations strategies to engage the local community in the efforts of the Humboldt Co-op and to be an active participant in the community and support local initiatives.Collect market research to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace and marketing best practices, strategizing and developing marketing proposals, drafting reports, and keeping up to date with the industry’s latest developments, trends, competitors, and promotional opportunities.Responsible for the advertising/promotion budget and negotiating with advertising representatives. Oversee the design, production and distribution or marketing materials and information for/to all departments. Arrange and plan for media coverage at events. Assist with developing and executing Human Resources materials including print and digital. Manage expenses, completing budgets, participating in annual planning, goal setting, policies, and procedures.Maintain ongoing target marketing programs such as community events and campaigns, donations, sponsorships, gift card program, kids club program and other key community partnerships as part the Co-op community engagement strategies;Develop and foster strong working relationships with others across multiple departments to exchange/report/present information, advise and collaborate on issues/solutions;Other duties as assigned.
