Learn more at The Automotive Technician will provide high-quality vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs. In this role, you will help build and grow our on-site mechanical program, working directly with the Regional Director to set up efficient workflows and provide insight into best practices.  Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (no weekends)Pay: starting at $30.00 per hour, dependent on experience, plus a $1,500.00 signing bonus for the successful candidate. Test drive to verify condition.Order parts as requiredProvide estimates internally and externally as neededDiagnose transmission and engine problems on-site and in the field with our team of vehicle inspectors. Based upon certification levels, perform various diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance, which may include:Mount and balance tiresReplace bulbs/fuse as needed to complete functionality of the associated systemReplace drive beltsBrake repairs on disc brake systems and conventional drum brakesCoolant system repairsA/C leak test/evacuate and rechargeDiagnosis and repair of OBD II systemsBrake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension componentsElectrical systemsNS Safety InspectionsInterior/exterior componentsEngine and driveline diagnosis & repairsAdvanced diagnosticsParts replacement Maintain the assigned work area and ensure the shop is clean and tidy at all times.Perform all assigned work in a safe and conscientious manner.Able to multi-task and use company-issued equipment to help answer questions for inspectors in the field. Handle and dispose of all fluids as defined by MSDS and in accordance with all provincial and local regulations.Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records as defined/directed by management.Assure prompt repairs by interfacing and coordinating with vendors for parts and repairs.Complete road test drives. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.What You Will Need:Licensed Red Seal technicianAbility to use multiple computer/mobile apps in the field on company-issued phones. Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehiclesAbility to follow safety instructions and directionsProficiency with hand tools and other equipmentExcellent listening, problem-solving, and communication skillsSelf-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethicAbility to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hearFrequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climbAbility to lift 15 poundsExcellent vision required, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusWhat We Offer:Competitive payMedical, Dental & Vision401k/RSP programsCompany paid Group Life/AD&D insurancePaid time offFlexible working environmentContinuous LearningAnd an amazing culture to top it all offE INC is an equal opportunity employer and affirmatively seeks diversity in its workforce.
