They’re Service Stars Aramark Canada is seeking an organized individual interested in pursuing a career in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or Nutrition to join the Dalhousie Food Services team as a Residence Dining Supervisor Reporting to the Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the component, including the supervision of the front line team.Job ResponsibilitiesControls the labor costs by supervising daily staffing levels as needed while driving efficiency from all staff.Retains control of production costs, supply costs, and inventory by adhering to all standards of operation.Audits service and quality on a regular basis.Adheres to all standards and established tracking procedures daily.Develops and implements strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals.Supervises teamwork and service on a regular basis.Supervises day-to-day employee issues in a professional manner while adhering to all Aramark policies and procedures.Supports and implements training programs that develop skills to better serve guests, build repeat business, grow revenue, and improve morale.Assists in annual employee reviews and supervises interim performance issues.All employees to be trained according to company standards for safety, health, and sanitation procedureOther duties as assignedQualificationsDiploma/Degree in Culinary Management, Hospitality, Nutrition or related field1-2 years’ experience in the food service industry as a SupervisorOutstanding communication skillsStrong with prioritization and time managementStrong customer service skillsFlexible; evening and weekend work may be requiredAbout AramarkNorthern Europe - Our MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.Northern Europe - About AramarkAramark is a leading service and solutions provider in Northern Europe.
