Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East (Quebec), Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the supervisor, as a forklift operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods within the department. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality control of the equipment.What you’re responsible for: Ensure that received materials comply with specifications and are properly identifiedWeigh materials upon receipt and shipmentLoad, unload, and move goods safelyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentInspect machinery at the beginning of each shift and report any anomaliesNotify the supervisor of any non-compliance or problems identifiedQualificationsTo join our team:You have a valid forklift operator's licenseYou have at least 2 years of experience operating a forkliftYou are responsibleYou are conscientious about health and safetyYou know how to manage prioritiesAdditional InformationAmerican Iron and Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
