YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Energy and Infrastructure General Supervisor, you will be part of the Energy and Infrastructure Department. You will supervise all energy, electrical surface & underground maintenance activities. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Supervise and coordinate the surface electrical/instrumentation activities;Supervise and coordinate the UG electrical maintenance & development activities;Implement and ensure application of working procedures among team members;Applies the methods and principles of the Supervision Formula;Organizes the weekly jobs to execute according to the weekly schedule;Ensure proper standard work practices are followed through the preventive and corrective maintenance activities;Coordinate, in collaboration with reliability engineers, electrical and planned shutdowns activities when necessary;Coordinate morning meetings and weekly safety meetings with your team;Analyses and organizes the training needs for immediate employees;With respect of Agnico Eagle’s internal management process, prepare daily work packages for all team members;Applies disciplinary measures to employees when required.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDElectrical journeyman license or license C or equivalent experience is required;5+ years of experience underground supervision;5+ years of experience in a similar role in remote mine conditions;Experience in remote site power plant management is considered an asset;Education in Electrical Engineering is considered an asset;Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.
