This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction. In addition, the instructor will oversee and ensure shop safety, complete the related administrative, record keeping and monitoring activities as well as other related duties as required.  Qualifications An Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement and Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience should include a minimum of 5 years of varied field experience as a Journeyperson and 5 years in a supervisory capacity. A Provincial Instructor Diploma or other relevant teaching certification and experience are preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Require skills/abilities include:A valid Class 5 Driver’s licenseDemonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to excellence in teaching with the ability to inspire and mentor learners of all agesKnowledge and passion for the best practices in equity, diversity, and inclusion in the classroomEffective cross-cultural communication skills, particularly with the Indigenous communitiesDemonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a collaborative team environmentExcellent organizational, communication and facilitation skills Intermediate computer skills (word processing, excel, email)
