Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hour (based on experience and certifications; (includes applicable premiums)).About the Role: LTS Protective Services is hiring a dedicated and professional Mobile Tactical Security Guard to join our elite enforcement team. This position requires driving between multiple client sites, conducting proactive patrols, ensuring access control, and responding to on-site incidents. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:Conduct mobile and foot patrols at various client locations.Monitor and secure properties by scanning NFC checkpoints and inspecting all access points.Enforce site-specific protocols and LTS policies.Respond to emergencies, alarms, trespassing, and other incidents.Accurately complete reports, logs, and daily activity summaries.Liaise with emergency services or local authorities when required.Remove unauthorized persons from private property.Ensure all assigned sites are patrolled during scheduled timeframes.Communicate effectively with dispatch and the Operations team.Perform access control duties and assist clients, tenants, or site staff as needed.Required Qualifications & Certifications:Candidates must hold and maintain the following valid credentials while employed:Ontario Security Guard License (must carry physical or digital copy while on duty).G Class Driver’s License (must be valid and in good standing).Clean and current driver’s abstract.Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) Certification.WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).Smart Serve Certification.Resistance Management Systems & Use of Force Certification (Baton & Handcuff) – Stay Safe or LTS-approved instructor.Ministry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness Training.Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (in accordance with LTS policy).Additional requirements:Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement for company vehicle use).Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile or tactical security.Ability to operate company vehicle safely and maintain logs.Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure.High integrity and professionalism.Uniform & Equipment Requirements: Employees are responsible for acquiring and maintaining the following mandatory uniform and gear:Black Cargo Pants.LTS Grey Short Sleeve Security Shirt.LTS 2-in-1 Tactical Jacket.CSA-approved black tactical boots.LTS-approved Level 3A Stab-Proof Tactical Vest.Tactical Security Duty Belt with inner belt.Handcuffs and Baton (required after Use of Force training).Epaulettes and security ID badge.Reflective Safety Vest.Note: Items already owned may be reviewed and approved by management.Training Expectations:Candidates must either hold or be willing to complete the following certifications:Resistance Management Systems (Day 1).Use of Force Training (Day 2) – Includes Baton and Handcuff Certification.Annual renewal of certifications including; AODA, WHMIS, Smart Serve, First Aid/CPR, and Use of Force.Completion and maintenance of the required certifications are conditions of employment. All courses must be completed through Stay Safe or another provider approved by LTS. Shift Schedule: Continental Night Shifts: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM. Shifts rotate biweekly and may include weekends and holidays.
