Key Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: · Provides and maintains reliable and efficient mail services for the entire Division. · Sorts internal mail for efficient routing prior to delivery. · Delivers daily mail, materials and equipment for all departments to the various destinations as directed by supervisor. · Obtains signatures for receipt of goods upon delivery as required. · Provides courier service as may be required outside of the Division. · Performs minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment as may be required. · Assists maintenance staff as may be required during the downtime for courier service (i.e. Christmas, Spring & Summer breaks). · Maintains a positive working relationship with educational staff, students and fellow staff members. · Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time. Skills and Qualifications · Must possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License and have a good driving record. · Must possess sufficient oral and written English language communication skills to perform the duties of the position. · Must possess the ability to identify, organize and prioritize tasks to achieve efficiency in the day-to-day operations of the position. · Must possess the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision. · Must possess a record of effective and positive interaction with students, staff, public and co-workers. · Must have the ability to work co-operatively as a team member. · Must possess the ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
