Our company’s success is driven by our dynamic, highly-skilled and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local area’s economy and sense of community.The RoleAs a result of our robust growth we are seeking Fish Processing Plant Workers to join our team. Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:Unloading fish from fishing vessels and transporting to work area in the fish processing plantCut and clean whole fish for further processingSet up and operate machines to box or package fish productsCondition whole fish for shippingWeighing fish, recording weight and packing fish in ice. Cleaning work area and equipmentTransporting supplies and packaging materials throughout plant and storage area manually or with power equipment.  *This position requires standing for long periods of time and using hand tools including knives and pliers.A general understanding of the processing line is considered an asset; however, on the job training is available. Available Shifts/Hours are as follows:Continental night shift (6:00 pm-6:30 am) *night shift premium of $1.00/hour applies to this shift.*Positions offer full-time year round employment, competitive rates and a competitive benefits package which includes health and dental as well as a company matched pension.The OpportunityThe role description is just one part of the story.
