VG Meats, Rowe Farm, and Olliffe are looking for a dedicated Regenerative Farm Vehicle Maintenance and Animal Mover for our Ontario FarmsWhy Choose Us:Compensation: Wage Range - $15 to $25/hr, dependent on your level of regeneration contributionEmployee Discount: Enjoy 25% off on our products.Growth Opportunities: Be part of a growing company with many learning experiences.Social Regeneration: We are actively fostering personal development plans, conducting organizational health index surveys, and encouraging peer assessments to make our organization a fulfilling and supportive environment.Responsibilities:Maintain and repair farm vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal functionalitySafely and efficiently move animals around the farm, ensuring their well-beingAssist in managing grasslands through holistic planned grazingMonitor and maintain the health of the animals during transportationSet, monitor, and maintain water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns and coopsMaintain cleanliness and organization in barnyards and pensOperate and maintain farm vehicles and equipment safely and effectivelyPerform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all farm equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtimeEnsure all safety protocols and regulations are followed during equipment operationCollaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks and maximize efficiencyRequirements:Experience in farm vehicle maintenance and repairAbility to safely handle and move animalsPossess a valid Z endorsement on your driver's licenseProficient in operating and maintaining farm equipment and vehiclesWillingness to work in all weather conditionsStrong work ethic and organizational skillsExcellent verbal communicationAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsSpecific education or training in farming is not required, but relevant courses or certificates are advantageous.First aid course or certificate may be required.Join VG Meats, Rowe Farms, and Olliffe in our mission to improve the regenerative potential of our food and agricultural systems.
