Territory:  Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon Contract: 8 weeks, Start Date: Feb 9th  - End Date: April 3rd Status: Existing Vacancy We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of part-time Merchandiser (24 hours/3 days per week) for the territory of  Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon.  Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada), Inc, is recognized as a leader in the market for premium quality chocolate, offering a large selection of products in more than 100 countries around the world. Key Responsibilities: As a member of our Team, the successful candidate will be supporting the Sales team, and merchandising ongoing sales plans in addition to the flawless execution of Key Account Initiatives (KAI), including marketing and sales promotions at the store level. The candidate will be calling on Drug, Grocery, Mass, and Department retail outlets.Pay: Starting at $19/hour Qualifications: Sales and merchandising experience in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry preferredExperience with Companion Rep preferredProficient in Word and ExcelA self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a teamEffective communication skills, both oral and writtenPrefer the opportunity to work in a contract, part-time positionReside in the proximity of the designated territoryA valid driver's license, exclusive access to a vehicle, and the ability to lift 50 poundsAccess to a personal smartphone/ tablet to complete appropriate reportingCapable of repetitive activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, walking, squatting, and lifting continuously Requirements: Access to a vehicle- MANDATORYHaving knowledge in CPG is an assetGreat communication and selling skills This position offers a competitive wage and mileage allowance.
