Tactical Enforcement GuardWe are currently looking for Part-time Tactical Enforcement Security guards for CORE Mall in Calgary, Alberta.Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable mannerAbility to utilize tact and diplomacy when on dutyRespond to medical emergencies and provide First Aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arriveAbility to maintain and enforce access control proceduresSolid understanding of emergency and standard operating proceduresDeal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe mannerMaintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all mattersAble to conduct periodic patrols of property by footInvestigate incidents and occurrencesDraft detailed incident and occurrence reportsMaintain the peace, safety, and security of all patrons, and clients on the propertyMonitor CCTV surveillance systemsDe-escalate emergency/crisis situationsAssist emergency and law enforcement personnelAccess control, line management, customer serviceAssist with daily operations as needed/required or directedQualifications & Skills:Previous experience working directly with Law Enforcement/the Police Service, Military, Door man/bouncers or a related field is required.Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods (12 hours).Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalismMust have at least 1 year of prior Security experienceExperience in Loss Prevention / Retail Security is considered an assetMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust have a strong command and fluency in the English language both written and verbalMust be able to take a Proactive approach to all onsite situationsMust be capable of retaining all relevant information provided by management and designated staffAble to take constructive feedback where appropriateMust be unafraid to attend highly stressful emergency situationsMust be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both indoors and outdoors as required.Must be able to handle stress and pressure and make a sound decision under duressMust be comfortable working in a busy highly populated areaMust demonstrate high attention to detail / observational awarenessMust demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a teamFirst Aid Level C is a strong assetGuardteck Security is a BC owned and operated security firm providing professional security services across Canada.
