Since this is an individualistic, one-person office environment, dependability and accountability are paramount.Sales and New Business: Actively upsell and cross-sell insurance packages (home and auto) to existing clients, draw new business into the office, and participate in community promotion and potential cold-calling efforts.Client Service & Policy Management: Serve existing policies, conduct needs assessments, process renewals, and handle retention calls.Underwriting & Approvals: Write new policies, seek underwriting approval, and communicate with Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy changes.Administrative Dependability: Maintain the office operations.
