PSW BarrieComForCare North Simcoe is seeking compassionate and professional Personal Support Workers to join our Barrie team.We are looking for naturally nurturing PSWs who are interested in a rewarding career providing services to a client in a retirement facility. We celebrate success and encourage opportunities for growth.Our focus is to help our clients and employees live their best life possible.Job Summary:Providing high quality, compassionate personal care to clients guided by an individualized care plan.Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living including but not limited to:-bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene-ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercises with the safe use of assistive devices-toileting and incontinence careMeal planning, preparation and assistance with eatingCompanionship, meaningful engagement activities and household managementHomemaking tasks including: light housekeeping, dusting, sweeping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry and cleaning bathroomsMedication RemindersElectronic documentation as per agency policyQualifications:Successful completion of a PSW certificate courseAt least six months experience as a PSW in a community care settingCurrent CPR and First AidThe ability to obtain a vulnerable sector check acceptable to ComForCare North Simcoe The ability to get to clients home in a defined geographical areaSomeone who is naturally nurturing, friendly, positive, patient and respectfulWe Offer:Initial and ongoing training, online, many with certifications (DementiaWise)Positive and supportive teamEmployee recognition programFlexible schedules to meet your life demandsCompetitive pay and opportunities to receive bonusesComForCare North Simcoe treats caregivers the way we want caregivers to treat clientsTo apply:Please send resume to Compensation: $ - $ per hour
