Working here is fast-paced, non-stop, and a little unpredictable—and we love it.Your area of focus.Parts Advisors are responsible for researching and sourcing parts for customers and technicians, ensuring timely and accurate part orders, and facilitating the sales process. Will provide exceptional customer service by issuing price quotes, selling parts, and handling special-order requests. This role also involves managing inventory, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.What drives your day-to-day?Research and source parts for customers or techniciansIssue parts price quotesSell parts to customer or service work ordersComplete special-order parts requests that need to be ordered by the customerCommunicate with the customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealershipPick-up parts for customers or technicians as requiredRestock shelves and put warranty parts into appropriate binsKeep work area and displays cleanMust follow all company safety policies and proceduresOther duties as requiredWhat are the must-haves…Some familiarity and/or experience with working in an automotive dealership and/or Parts DepartmentCompletion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses is considered an assetExperience with CDK is considered an assetA general understanding of Parts & Service operations and inventory managementA well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsA person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitmentsDetail oriented, self-motivated and resourcefulHigh-level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc.Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of timeMust possess a valid driver's license and have a safe driving historyMust be legally authorized to work in Canada The Perks.Competitive Compensation and Benefits PackageEmployee Vehicle Purchase & Service PlansEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramsCompany-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career And those are just the basics.
