Title: Azure DevOps Engineer – AKS / Terraform / SRE Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 6 Months  Introduction We are seeking a skilled engineer with expertise in Azure cloud platforms and Kubernetes to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role focuses on ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)-based platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation and site reliability engineering (SRE). Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with core Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity Access Management) Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Azure ARM Expert knowledge in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters Experience with CICD pipeline automation using tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions Understanding of Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights) Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with GitOps practices, such as using Flux CD for managing Kubernetes deployments Deep understanding of Kubernetes core concepts (Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, Config Maps, Secrets) Experience with cluster security, networking (CNI), and storage provisioning in AKS Day-to-Day Responsibilities Ensure the availability, performance, and security of our AKS-based platform Develop and maintain fully automated CICD pipelines for infrastructure and applications Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and drive permanent resolutions Collaborate with development teams to promote and enforce SRE and DevOps best practices Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive team culture focused on innovation and collaboration For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
