OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Designer. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of AI-powered shopping by crafting intuitive, user-centered experiences that delight and empower users across the globe.We’re looking for a candidate with excellent visual design skills, strong presentation and communication abilities, and proven experience partnering with PMs and engineers to iterate effectively and deliver high-quality, production-ready design specs.Responsibilities ·Design expressive, human-centred solutions that balance emotion and function, while aligning with internal system guidelines. ·Communicate clear perspectives on customer experiences and their underlying rationale using diverse visual storytelling techniques.·Rapidly visualize concepts for new product experiences or existing ones. ·Partner with product, engineering, research and design to create beautiful and inclusive expressive content that delights and engages our customers. ·Create or implement prototypes and assist with presentations. Collaborate with other design teams on shared initiatives.·Develop style guidelines, specs, or other deliverables to document the essential elements of a design solution for development or future use. ·Actively represent the design and collaborate with engineering and product teams to champion customer excellence.·With an obsessive eye for detail, to ensure quality fit and finish for product releases. Requirements·5-7 years of UX design / UI design/product design work experience. ·Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of standard design principles: colour, typography, layout, and brand. ·Excellent & clear communication skills.·Experience in planning and delivering work independently in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. ·Bachelor's degree in interaction design, visual communication, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience. ·Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite and emerging AI technologies.·Proficiency in advanced prototyping tools, adept at translating design specifications into tangible prototypes, including motion design ·Customer-centric mindset. ·The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment via exceptional time management skills is critical*The ideal candidate has browser design experience and/or AI feature design experience, strong systems thinking, and can communicate their design rationale clearly. Someone who has worked on iteration in a small space would be great.Preferred Qualifications·Experience with brand and marketing design, icon design, and typographic design. ·Motion design experience.Top 3 Requirements & Interaction Design (Figma): 5–7 years of experience creating high-quality, user-centred designs.2.Presentation Skills: 5–7 years of experience effectively communicating design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.3.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Partners: 5–7 years of experience working closely with PMs, engineers, and researchers to iterate and deliver designs.*Portfolio demonstrating excellence in user experience and interaction design, visual design, creativity, and compelling storytelling.Typical Task BreakdownA typical day involves collaborating with designers, PMs, engineers, and researchers to move features from early exploration to refined designs. You’ll focus on understanding project goals, iterating in Figma, presenting work in design reviews, and preparing clear, implementation-ready specs for engineering handoff.Other·Interview schedule: oOne to two rounds of interviews (30-60 minutes) oIncludes portfolio walk-through (2 or 3 projects) and experience discussion.
